Want to experience a form of racing that goes beyond your normal set of expectations? Welcome to your resource on adventure racing in the Midwest!
SOAR Adventures is a non-profit racing organization which was created to assist those interested in their search for adventure race training, events and news here in the Midwest. Our goal is to grow the sport through experience and teaching, using hands-on events and website knowledge, all while giving back to the central-Iowa community.
Our Team
Team SOAR Adventures is presently comprised of various individuals who share the constant desire to challenge themselves. As each member comes to the team with experience in several racing disciplines, they also bring their own personal determination to succeed. Initially created in 2003, the team has enjoyed racing throughout the Midwest region in a multitude of races ranging from sprint to multi-day events, not only in adventure racing but also orienteering and mountain bike events. With each team member's willingness to accept virtually any challenge that presents itself and collaborate to find the means by which to overcome it, the team is eagerly looking forward to even greater growth opportunities from a multitude of endeavors planned for the 2006 racing season.
