  • August 12th, 2005 – SOAR Night-Biking Session - Cancelled due to weather
Location:    Kum & Go, Hwy 92/I-35 exit, Bevington, Iowa
    Time:    9:30 p.m.

We thought it would be interesting to go for a night bike ride during the climax of the Perseid meteor shower (40-80 meteors/hour) on Friday, August 12th.   It should make for an interesting ride, as we will be on gravel roads out in the country with plenty of open sky for viewing.   We will plan on meeting around 8:30 p.m. at the Kum & Go off the Bevington / Hwy 92 exit on I-35.   The bike ride is approx. 35 miles with moderate hills and flat areas, and takes us around three hours to do normally.   Be sure to bring your bike lights (both front and rear) as well as something to drink.

If you would like to join us, please RSVP Ryan or show up at the time indicated.
